After SPIRIT has jailbreaked my iPad I not only got Cydia, I could also load such nice things like OpenSSH and iFile. Over WinSCP and Wifi I could see the iPad file system on my EEE PC 1000HE and I succsessfully brought Clock, the MobileTimer.App to fully work!
So I jailbreaked again an Apple item: My iPhone 3 GS, to get the other apps like Weather, Calc, Stocks, Compass... which were not on the iPad to the iPad folder /applications.
I fiddled here and I worked there, changed some rights entries to 0755 and 0775 and I could start all of them, indeed... but no one worked except Compass app.
I looked at the rights management (with WinSCP) on my iPhone 3GS for that apps, tried to set the same rights on all files in these *.app for them on iPad, but they didn't want to start correctly:
OK, Calc and Stocks opens, I can see all keys of Calc, but both closed again within two seconds. Weather opens, but with no text, and so on.
Can they not work properly on iPad or must I search for a special mix on rights for some files within these lost iPhone apps?
