Hi all

This may sound like a really stupid question but how do i install the updates for my apps on iphone?

If i try to install on the phone it says they will be available the next time i connect to itunes.

I remember seeing a page on itunes with all my apps in rows but i cant for the life of me remember how i got there or find where it is again.

I know this is probably going to be really simple but i stared at itunes for about 2 hours last night and couldn't work it out.

Many thanks
Scot

Click on Applications in the Source bar, in the bottom left is 'Check for Updates'.

Have you tried on your iPhone... go to the app store on the phone, and in the bottom right side is Updates.

Click on Edit --> Preferences. You will then see a list of stuff you can set to view in your library. Make sure the box next to Applications is checked.

go to iTunes > Preferences (or just hit command+,).

Make sure applications is ticked on the General tab.

Thanks for your help guys. I found the option and now have my apps showing in the iTunes list, but not all of them.

The updates still wont work for some reason i just get a message saying some of the applications in your iTunes library were not installed. Basically all 6 wouldn't install because of an error (0xE800002E)

I think ive seen that mentioned in here before so ill do a search :)

I had the same problem today.

Hi Scot,

I had the same problem today. This is how I solved it.

I opened itunes, downloaded the apps that I purchased over the iphone into my account so that they now appeared in my app section. Located on the left side of the main screen under library ( I have a PC). You don't have to pay again. Itunes will recognize that you already purchased them. Then I delelted the apps from my iphone and reloaded them again, ONE AT A TIME back to my iphone ( you don't want to confuse the little thing) through itunes. That solved the problem. I got my apps loaded and updated and that pesky number off the app icon on my iphone.

Hope this helps. :):):)
