As someone who jailbroke my iPad 2 to use RetinaPad and utilize iPhone apps (see: games) on my iPad, I'm wondering how useful that strategy will be from now on. Before, the resolutions were very close, but now, there's a huge gap. Anyone else thinking the same?
Also, I wonder if apple will allow iPhone apps to finally use their retina resolution when displaying on the iPad, instead of the awful base iPhone resolution.
