I was saw surprised to see in ios12 that they have finally made it so iPhone apps running on an iPad look bigger and not that small iPhone 4 screen size anymore! They removed the 1x/2x button as it seems that it no longer scales up to 2x, in fact when scaling up you can see some bad aliasing on text, but I’ll take the larger size anytime.
