As far as I understand 3rd party app developers don't have the capability to add "widgets" to the notification center at this time. If that had the ability we would be seeing Twitter, RSS apps and all sorts up in our bar. I'm on boar though and would love to see this as being possible in the future, I mean if you didn't want them there just shut them off?
