The other night i was using the iPhone's app store (on the edge network) to download the "flashlight app". I was bored and decided i would try the app out to see what it was like. I downloaded and installed the app succesfully and even open and closed it a couple times. But. when i went to close it on the third try it took me directly to my favorite contacts. Every time i tried to press the home button once, to return to the home screen, it would assume i was pressing it twice and take me to my favorite contacts screen. I was never able to get out of my contacts app and into anything else. The phone was also showing signs of issues because i could never turn on my ringer and the software just seemed to be acting up.

I have read on here in the past that people have had issues with their firmware after using the app store. Is this just another one of those issues? I just restored my iPhone this morning and am in the process of transferring everything back on to my phone. I'm hoping that if i stay away from the apps store for now i'll be ok. Everything seems to be working and running as normal for now.

Anyone have any similar experiences or advice for a situation like this?

Thanks for reading
