Hey,

I recently reformatted my PC so I have lost all of my applications which were downloaded on iTunes.

I'm wondering if it is possible to sync it with my iPhone and to transfer the applications onto iTunes rather than re-downloading them all?

Thanks in advance.

Yes, before you connect your phone to the "new" iTunes, open the "new" iTunes, select preferences>devices, make sure that "Prevent iPods, iPhones, and iPads from automatically syncing is checked.

Connect your phone to iTunes, right click on your device in the left pane, and select "Transfer Purchases". This will transfer all of your purchased apps and music from the phone to iTunes.

Can't believe I didn't notice that option.

Thanks a ton. Much appreciated.
