iPhone as new ATV remote?

Apologies if this has already been asked but has anyone seen if the iPhone Remote app is going to be updated so it can provide the same functionality as the new TV remote. I'm not thinking so much of Siri but more as additional remotes for multiplayer games.

Yes, iPhone can be game controller.

Remote app will likely be updated when the new AppleTV actually launches... Though it technically already supports the swipe stuff they have shown off.
