iPhone backing

I have a black iPhone 3GS and I was wondering if it scratches easliy from normal use such as in and out of a jeans pocket etc. Not throwing or sliding it across a table just like normal use. I wasn't refferifng to the screen I am referring to the backing of the iPhone.
