iPhone Backup App - Cheating Wife

I have never used PhoneView before, but I read up on it. Does anyone here have any experience?

It seems I can just plug in her phone and it will make a backup which will then be viewable and saved?

I have mountains of phone records - I just want to be able to view the messaging back and forth to solidify my case. Thanks.

Don't bother with phoneview. I've played with many of these apps, and ibackupextractor is the best one i've found for reading data from unencrypted itunes backups:

You'll be able to see a lot more than just messages. You'll also be able to see photos, notes, calendar, call logs, browser history, emails history, etc...
