iPhone backup keeps hanging near the end.

It seems about 85% finished, but then it just stalls. Is there a legitimate reason for this? Does anyone know what it's backing up around that point? Does it save pictures and videos I've taken for the end?

I've tried the deleting backups and restarting iTunes solution, but it keeps happening.

How long do you wait before you decide to give up?

Its been sitting there at the same spot for a good 15 minutes now.

I am having the same problem. I just got an imac and am migrating over from my PC, I thought it had something to do with that. That and as a former PC user I am just used to things not working right the first time!

turning off crash reports can help.
