iphone backup to ipad for photos and imessages

hey guys i want to transfer my old iphone backup to ipad. it works on itune however none of my album or messages transfered over, i can't use icloud cause my album is well over 5gb, i think around 32 or so. i think i ran into an app earlier this year but forgot the name. does anyone know?

After restoring your iPad from the iPhone backup, did you then sync with your iTunes library?

no i don't, but my itune deosn't have my photos and imessages and such.

You mentioned albums though. I think that you have to sync your music library through iTunes. It's not part of the backup.

If you create a backup of your iPhone with iTunes it will of course also contains your camera roll, meaning all the photos you took with the iPhone camera. Of course you need to restore from a backup in order for these items to be moved to a new device.
