What directory are you in (give the full path)? Also XP? Vista? 7?

XP

well thats the problem. i read that its in
C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup
but i go to my user in documents and settings but there is no application data.

i have done a folder search for mobilesync and backup and it didn't come up on either.
the farthest full path i get is.
C:\Documents and Settings\*******

Hmmm…. you have the right directory. Are there different users or are you logged in as admin (I doubt that’s the problem, since you see it in iTunes).
