How long does your iPhone batery last?

Mine doesn't last 24 hours:

- a few phone calls a day
- a dozaine emails a day
- web surfing for about 45 min

After all that I have no more baterry. I shut off all notifications, Bluetooth, fetch and more options. In regards to 3rd party apps I have ebuddy and facebook.

Why is my batery not lasting more than one day? How long does yours last?

Is the web surfing done thru 3G or wifi.
I noticed 3G or edge eat up my battery alot faster than wifi.

Either the battery, or the power management routines, or both, are complete crap.
Going in for my second 3GS this weekend.
I can't get through a single day of "normal" use without the battery dying.
No WiFi, no push and no auto fetching of emails.

My wife's iPhone has the same issues as well.

Mostly 3G but its actually terrible. I wake up in the morning its at 100%. By noon I have less then 50%. I simply don't understand why when I have all the options set right. Imagine if I'd have push, notifications, bluetooth..etc. The phone would last one hour.

Also games on the iphone are very intensive battery eaters.
