iPhone Batteries: 1150mAh, 1600mAh, 1800mAh- Does it Matter?

I bought this battery for my 32GB iPhone 3Gs and it barely holds are charge. Further searching on eBay showed that there are 1600 and even 1800 mAh batteries. Does it make a difference? Which is the proper mAh?

I bought 1800 mA battery from the Ebay .


Now I have the problem when my batery capacity is either near or bellow 1/4 of the full capacity (not in the battery RED alert warning ), my IPhone is shutdown unexpectedly

even after couple of full drain and full recharge cycles I have same problem and the Iphone battery capacity is slightly increased !!
