I'm about to buy my first iPhone to replace my dead iPod etc.
I used to leave my iPod in my Logitech AudioStation when not in use so it would charge as well being able to then play the music at home.
My question is; is this a good idea for an iPhone. Is the battery in an iPhone designed to be drained fully before re-charge or is it designed to be topped up as you go? The latter would work fine with me plugging it in to the AudioStation periodically but if its the former then i'm worried my battery life would be adversely affected!
