So my brother's iPhone 4S on iOS 7.0.4 has started to lose battery a lot. It drains too fast. Since his phone is jailbroken I installed BatteryDetective to check battery stats.

This screenshot is from brother's phone with only 286 cycle count but maximum capacity is under 1000 mAh.
I am also confused as the battery drain shows a positive and pretty high value.

Now this screenshot is from my iPhone 4S on same iOS and it's stats seem proper and battery drain is a negative value.

Can anyone interpret these and tell me what is wrong with my brother's phone.

I am not in USA so I cannot get it replaced through apple store as we don't have any here.

You're seeing a positive drain because it's charging :D

As for the battery, they're rated for holding 80% of their charge at 300 cycles. Either way it's probably not under warranty any more if it's a 4S - so I'd probably suggest sending it off to Apple for a new battery (even if they don't have stores they will still offer service).

Your brother's battery is just about to die. Simple like that.
A maximum capacity below 100 mAh is a clear indicator that the battery is dying ....
