I have an issue I took my iPhone out of charge at 11 am at 100% and it's 3:25 pm at 93% I didn't use the phone at all only notification from Facebook and messenger. Is 8% drop normal ?

Messenger and Facebook are the worst battery killing apps ever. Those alone are enough to suck a battery dry in 12 hours without any screen on usage.

You recommend I use facebook on safari and the phone does get warm during use .

I use the messenger app, but if I go to FaceBook its only through Safari. Messenger app is better on battery than the Facebook app, but its still not the best. For convenience though, the messenger app works well.

If you are in an area with a weak cell phone signal or a WiFi signal that drops in and out, then yes this is par for the course.

This.

I just use web based Facebook and Facebook to access messenger. They're both bloated resource sucking pigs.
