iPhone battery issue

Tried searching for this but couldn't find a match. iPhone 6s iOS 13.5.1. Battery depletes quickly. Latest test was to fully charge iPhone, remove from charger, do complete power down and leave off charger over night. Powered up. Morning battery level = 10%. Why would the deplete so thoroughly especially when the phone was totally powered down? Battery health says 82%. Thanks for any help you can give.

Your battery needs replacement. 82% is basically worn out...
