hey, for reasons not up to me, I've been forced to use an iphone 5 for about a week.

My issue is BATTERY LIFE!

I was told that the iphone 5 had exceptional all day battery life, but I find myself having to charge TWICE throughout the day (in addition to charge overnight).

Why is this?

What am I doing wrong?

Settings -> Privacy -> Location Services
If Location Services is turned on, make sure that only the apps that ABSOLUTELY REQUIRE IT TO FUNCTION are allowed to use it. Enable for the Camera apps if you want geotagging/see your pics on a map. Most games and non-GPS apps don't need it.

Settings -> General -> Cellular
If LTE is enabled, disable it unless you need the faster speed it offers.

Settings -> General -> Auto-Lock: set this to 1 minute

Bluetooth: disable if you don't have to use it.

Brightness & Wallpaper: Auto-brightness ON, also adjust the slider as needed. An active screen eats a lot of power at max brightness.

WiFi: leave it on at all times.
