Hello all ;

My friend will bring me an Iphone 5 from UK this week. The problem is I read the rumors that battery cause some issues.Like ; if the battery out of package is low than some percentage it will cause problem in future or battery draining problems.What do you guys reckon for the phone I will receive this week has ta have a battery percentage out of the box ?

Thanx

Learn to consider the source. Li ion devices do not ship with 100% charged batteries. Even if they did, they wouldn't necessarily retain a 100% charge. If the battery is drained there's the possibility of damage but that's extremely unlikely.

Thanx.It was good condition out of the box :)

One last question. Before start using it do I have to put it charge like we did in the old times. Like charging for 24 Hours before use ? Does it needs anything like that ??

What I did when I got my 5 for the first time. I let it die out. Meaning the iPhone shuts off by itself then charge it to 100% overnight.

These phone's are charged to about 50% out of the factory and each day will lose a little bit of charge even when turned off.

Don't worry about it. When you get it the first thing the instructions tell you is to plug it in and charge it.

Once charged, don't worry about it... just use the phone the way you want.

usually comes with about 30% charge but let the battery drain all the way, do not charge it right away, only when your battery empties and phone shuts, it then should be charged to full power, it will keep the battery at peak performance, this builds a memory for the battery.

There's really no memory or anything like that with batteries these days, at least the vast majority of cell phone ones. You can essentially charge a battery whenever you feel like it and it should be just fine (provided you have a decent charger and cable and perhaps not some cheap one that might result in some issues).
