All the battery myths are stupid and you will hear a hundred of them here! Just use and enjoy your phone.

The only reason you might want to run your battery down to ~5% and do an full overnight charge is to reset your Battery % Indicator. It's good to occasionally use your device. (leaving it dead in a drawer for 6 months isn't good for it.) Other than that, just charge it when it's low, and use it normally. Nothing special you need to do.
