My iPhone 7. Not holding charge as before but still charges.
New battery around $50. Not sure i should spend the money for new battery
or hold off until last years iPhones discounted a little but know won't be a lot.
Would a new battery make a big difference in performance such as internet
Browsing switching between apps?
Thanks

How difficult would it be for you to get the new SE? That’s the route I’d go even over a new battery

If you’re looking for more speed, I don’t think a new battery will give you that unless your current one is causing unexpected shutdowns. The 7 was a solid phone, but it’s getting older now.

Exactly hoping to increase speed.

Is performance management applied for your current battery?

Don't think so.

Checked performance management. It said Peak Performance Capability
Maximum Capacity 82%

I looked at that site.. doesn’t seem like such a good deal to me 🤷🏻‍♂️

I bought a xs max 256 certified pre owned from my carrier for roughly 648 usd before the world changed. Brand new phone, battery at 100%..

For reference I just bought my wife a 64gb SE in red, should be here Thursday or Friday. The phone cost me 615 cad plus 74 bucks in tax I think. I paid about 200 more for my xs max with quadruple the storage.

The USA has fantastic prices.
