Hi,
I installed the iPhone beta 6 OS (5A308). I downloaded it legally through Apple (got the acceptance letter) and installed it on my iPhone. I need to downgrade to 1.1.4, though. I have been trying to downgrade, but am stuck. Does anyone know how to? Are any of the tools like pwnage, ziphone, etc capable of downgrading the new beta? Thanks!

Note that I have not tried this with beta 6 (no use...Apple didn't change much from beta5 to beta6), but it works with beta 5.

Connect iPhone to computer.

Now hold down power and home buttons until the iPhone shuts off. Now release the power button anytime between the shutting down and the apple logo. While holding the home button, connect and disconnect the iPhone twice.

This should put it in DFU mode (or if you're good at timing, do that hold for ten seconds or something thing). The iPhone should look like it's off, but iTunes should say iPhone detected.

Now restore to 1.1.4.

Get ZiPhone by kIREmK.

Now downgrade baseband.

After all, that, I had to use iLiberty+ to activate and unlock (and jailbreak).

Then I got bootNeuter, reset everything.

Restore to 1.1.4 one more time to have a complete fresh legit 1.1.4.
