So got the daughter a new 5S last week, all was great until this morning, she leaves it on the charger over night but this morning discovered it wouldn't turn on, I had a look and none of the buttons worked but I heard the phone interfering with the radio so the phone was on, I rang it and sure enough it started ringing but the screen stayed black. I then though to hold the home and power button and after about 10 seconds the phone came on.

Now I have owned many iPhones over the years and never had this issue, is this going to be the start of something?

It could've been a software glitch. I think mine might've done something like that once. As long as it's only a one time thing I wouldn't worry about it.

Something that can happen once in a while, basically a crash/hang of some sort. As long as it's not something happens more than just occasionally, it's not really something to worry about.
