Hello all,

Hoping someone could give me some advice/help with an issue I'm having with an iPhone 4.

I may have made a stupid junior error with the whole situation but I suppose we live and learn...

Today I have swapped my phone for an iPhone 4 and inspected the phone, all looked OK, everything was working etc.

The guy said he hadnt reset/restored the phone yet, as I had done for him with my phone, so I restored the device to factory settings via the device, checked the phone and it looked OK, i.e. the welcome screen 'slide to configure' etc... left and when I got home, plugged into iTunes to set everything up... iTunes wanted to put the latest update on the phone... is it ISO6 or something (not very technical) and then restore it... which it did...

However now, when I can see welcome screen 'slide to configure' however when I do slide to configure, the screen either goes black or very very dim so you can just make out that the phone has moved to the next page but then goes black.

I've been trying to find some support on the internet for this but no joy... however the only thing I am starting to wonder about was if the phone was jailbroken and this guy didnt tell me about this...

The main thing I would like to know is whether the phone is fixable or whether I just have to accept that I have been done over!
