I have an iphone 3g that is unlocked to version 3.0.1. This morning I installed the "Installous"; the application did not appear as an application, as it's suppose to be, but it said that it was installed in Cydia. We ignored that fact and did not touch the phone for a long while. My wife, after several hours of it running perfectly fine, pressed the contacts. All of the sudden, the entire phone blacked out and I tried to recover it but then it will go to the black and white apple 
screen then black out again to a black screen over and over and over. However the screen is still lit so I assume that it is still on. I believe that the iPhone was fully charged. How can I fix this problem? I tried connecting it to the itunes but it will not recognize the device but sometimes the iphoto will pick the device up, but I cannot power it off. This device belongs to a friend, and I need some help pronto
