Hi,

It seems there are certain "blackspots" where I live in the UK (which is 5 miles from Manchester central so coverage is fine) on Orange with my iPhone? I have never had these issues with any other phone, so it does seem its the iPhone. Basically on my route home I hit the same "blackspots" where my phone has very poor reception and then cuts out due to the poor reception. Its in the identical place every night!

I am running an unlocked 8gb US iPhone running firmware 1.1.2. Is this a common issue?

Thanks

I've upgraded to version 1.1.5 firmware and still the problem persists. Has anyone else had these problems? Is it my phone or just a fault with iPhone in general?

Thanks

Hi, I live in pretty much the same area as you, my girlfriend has those network blackouts also on orange, i think it is just the network, you can be walking down the street and the connection just goes them comes back. It usually happens on the bus route home.
