iPod iPhone blah blah....what about a new iPod for those of us that don't need a new phone

Any speculation, rumors, anything about a fullscreen iPod in the works before say...this Christmas. I really hope a new iPod release coincides with the iPhone release, but I bet we'll have to wait for the Paris expo in September.

Yeah don't count on an iPod update before september or so. That is when they are usually updated.

New iPod with same form-factor as iPhone with multi-touch, WiFi, etc would be AWESOME. I want it.

New iPods will be September at the earliest, the summer college deal is to clear out inventory of current gens... September seems about right also for that Pre-Christmas buzz as well as being historically when Apple has updated iPods as of late.
