Iphone bricked? I dont know :\

Okay.
So I bought this Iphone from my friend for $30.
And he reset it.
It worked for a few days, than when I tried turning it on, it showed the apple logo for abouttt...15 seconds.
Than it shuts back off.
And when I try to connect it to Itunes it doesn't recognize it, or even show up as a USB being connected.
I don't know whats wrong with it.

Any help please??

so i went to youtube,
yeah, i tried that like 10 times,
nothing.
My phone wont show its charging or nething...and it wont show the connected to itunes scree either

First open iTunes and connect your USB cord to your computer, but do not plug it into your iPhone. Then press and hold the home button on your phone while connecting the USB cord into your iPhone, while continuing to hold down the home button. Then click restore in iTunes.
