Right, so I dropped my iphone. Everything seemed fine on first inspection, till i noticed i had dented the case where the ring/silent moving bar was. So it was jammed on red, and I couldn't slide it out. However, with a bit of easy nudging over an hour it came lose, which seemed great, apart from it didn't seem to recognise it had switched from silent to ring mode. As in, no confirmation growl thing came up on screen. Switch it back to silent and nothing comes up either.

So I figure, well there are new 3gs around the corner, and i never hear it ringing anyway cos it's so quiet, so i dont mind it on silent mode as i have that set to vibrate.

Except it's not vibrating. Even though it's turned on in settings.

I can still play music out loud, have the alarm ring, hear people on the phone. I just am missing a lot of calls and texts as i have no idea it's ringing unless i can see the phone light up, which is no use in my pocket.

Any ideas? It's a uk jailbroken 1.1.2. If it's done then i guess i'll have to find a spare nokia or whatever until the 3g.

Cheers
