I have an iPhone 4 that all of a sudden stopped producing audio during calls. I have researched the web and on this discussion site for tips but this seems to be an odd issue. Here are the issues:
1. When making a call you cannot hear anything.
2. I made sure nothing is in the headphone jack and the phone does not think there are headphones inserted.
3. I put headphones in and played music just fine, but phone calls will not be heard through the headphones.
4. Bluetooth does not work either for calls. I hooked it up to numerous bluetooth devices and still no audio during calls.
5. No network issues because data/texting work just fine.
6. No water damage on sensors and no dirt/debris stuck in any port.
7. I tried restoring three times last night and still no sound.
The phone has no damage what so ever as I take care of my phones. I took the phone to the Genius bar and they were no Geniuses there. The phone is a couple months out of warranty so they wouldn't even take a look at it, or run any sort of diagnostics on it.
