All,

I'm hoping someone has some ideas or suggestions. Recently I have been having issues hearing calls on my iPhone. I have the volume turned up the whole way, but everyone is muted sounding or sound like they are far away. I know this is most likely a me issue with some health and other issues, but I would love to get some more volume out of my iPhone earpiece.

Anyone have a suggestion or idea?

Thanks

The speaker grill is blocked with dust and debris. You need a toothbrush to clean it from the outside. Do not use compressed air or solvents.

It might take a bit of an effort to clean it and it might not be enough to clean it from the outside. However the good news is that as long as sound is coming from the speaker it’s not broken.
