My brother and I both have our iPhones linked to our family plan. Both of them can not receive or make any calls, but our text messaging services are working.

Everyone else's phones on the family plan are working fine. Though, when they call me or my brother it says "network busy."

Anyone having the same problem? I thought it was weird that this started happening this morning, considering WWCD '08 is happening shortly.

Yet another example of the marvellous but hidden 'auto destruct' feature of the iPhone v1, programmed to initiate on the day of the v2 announcement.

New phone anyone? :)

Yes, this is phase 1 of Job's master plan. iPhones are heavy because of the Shrapnel capsules inside, set to explode today at 6pm. Its in your best interest to be as far away as you can from your phone. :apple:

This could be related to updates to the iPhone.
Wasn't there an OTA update for the iTunes store icon?

If Apple is preparing to send out an OTA feature or update, it could interfere with iphone usage.

Apple / AT&T doesn't update the iPhone via OTA...

It's all through iTunes.

iPhone OTA Update Offers New Web Gallery Feature
August 8, 2007
By: Christopher Meinck
Apple has released an over the air update for all Apple iPhones offering a new "Add to Web Gallery" feature.

Yesterday, Apple announced iLife 08' and have also added a new feature in the Photos application on the iPhone. From the iPhone, you can now select a photo and have a new option to "Send to Web Gallery". This new feature requires both iPhoto 08' and a dot mac account.

This feature was automatically added to the iPhone over the wireless network. Syncing via iTunes is not necessary to to add this new feature.

UPDATE:You must have a dot mac account configured on your iPhone for this feature to become activated. Thanks TUAW via Everything iPhone forums!

Everyone I know who had or has an iPhone. The service is busy or not working
