Hey all,
I had some issues with my camerafor the past few days where the shutter doesnt open, but turning the equipment off/on again fixed it... i assumed a 4.0.1 bug and was gonna be fixed eventually.
turns out its a hardware fault.
Last night my shutter wouldnt turn on at all, even after a reboot.
This morning i tried the "restore factory settings" option, then retore the phone completely via itunes and setting it up as a new phone (not restoring a backup)
neither option worked so got applecare on the line.
after confirming i ran the said diagnositcs they offered a replacment either via courier or swap through a store.
heres a video of the issue.

Hardware faults can happen, an i am very happy with how quickly Apple have delt with this. Dealing with other companys in the past (Sony + Nokia) i have normally had to send my phone off for a few weeks while they repair it.
Edit - Camera doesnt work in any apps either, Facebook, Twitter, etc
