I have a 2G. The camera was working perfectly until I have downloaded all the images to my computer and clicked on the option of erasing them from iphone after download is complete. Since then, when I take a shot, it seems like it is working but then in the Camera Roll there is just an empty frame, no images. If I take 5 shots, then I would have 5 frames but they last for a couple and seconds and then disappear. Would anyone know the reason and how to fix it? thanx

Have you tried "Hard Resetting" your iPhone?
This should solve it.

The fix requires downloading a program called PhoneView for Mac. The free demo should work, and in any case the software is useful for many other purposes and costs $19.95.

- Backup your iPhone with iTunes
- Transfer all of your photos to the Mac with iPhoto
- Open PhoneView and select iPhone
- Click Settings -> Open Entire Disk
- Delete DCIM/.MISC
- Reboot the iPhone
