iphone camera roll to ipad?

I restored from backup for my new ipad, a few photos from my photostream appeared in the ipad photos app but my camera roll and most of the photostream shown on my iphone 4 did not sync to the ipad.

did i do something wrong or is this how it works? all my contacts transferred over, and apps. but not email accounts or camera roll.

Thats how it works, only photostream is sync (last 30 days or 1000 photos whichone is less...)

You need to setup your email accounts for the first time.
