Helllo,

I have an iPhone 3GS. I've done a lot of repairing and changed the dock assembly... twice..! The iPhone can be charged with wall charger but it is not recognized in Windows, in several PCs.

I get the "USB Device Not recognized” and Code 43 Error ...

And yes, I've changed USB cable, changed Dock Assembly and tried in several PCs... and thoughts?

I've found out what happened!

I've noticed that I have 2 damaged jumpers on the main board, right next to the FPC connector that handles the USB connection and Charging. Maybe that happened when trying to take the ribbon out with a screwdriver...

I'm pretty sure that's the reason why it charges from the wall charger but it is not recognized by any PC.

PS: The "dock assembly" is a full assembly with speaker, mic and USB connector. It is located in the low part of the iPhone and it is completely removable and replaceable.
