Following the recent upgrade of the Youtube interface on Safari, I've noticed that it's possible to view private videos using an iPhone.
If you direct your iPhone to a private video, say http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FkTSUqPqsGE using Safari, it is possible to watch it by touching the play button as soon as it appears, without waiting for the page to finish loading.
I'm not sure whether this is the right forum for this topic, but given that it's possible to view private videos on the iPhone, surely there should be some method for doing this on a computer?
I know that there exist methods involving downloading directly from Google's caches, but I wonder if there might be a less clunky method.
If there aren't, I thought this might be worth some discussion anyway...

could you please describe to me in detail the process of downloading a private youtube video from google's caches? If so, that would be very helpful to me. Thanks! :)
