"iPhone" cannot be synced. Disk can not be read or written to.

I started getting this error a few months ago. The solution was to restore and re-jailbreak. Well it came back up a few nights ago, so I updated to 3.1.3 thinking it doesn't really matter, they will release a new Jailbreak soon.
So I've been without a jailbreak for a couple days, and just this morning I got the error again. Should I bring my phone into Apple?

Have you tried to reboot the iphone before connecting to itunes by holding the power and home buttons together until the white apple appears?

Fixed this issue my iphone.

I did the first time I had the issue and it didn't help. Maybe it would have subsequent times. If it pops up again I'll give that a shot. If not, I'll take it to the genius bar to get it replaced.

I just hope I can JB 3.1.3. Backgrounder is a godsend.

I read about a program called Sn0wbreeze. I'm just waiting for somebody I trust to "test" it.

I may get desperate and just do it anyways though. I can always restore.

i had the same problem but i got a new iphone cable and it works fine now!
