I bought my iPod about 4 years ago; it's a 60gig iPod video 5g version. I ripped all my tv shows to the iPod High format, where there are 640-480, 1500kbps, etc. They all play great on the iPod, but when I got my iPhone a couple months ago I noticed that some don't play on it. I can drag them onto the iPhone and they will show up, but when I go to play them, it says they are not compatible. Same thing with some movies. I can't believe that a 4 year old device has more video playback power than one of the most advanced mobile devices out.

Looking at the Apple website, they both have the same playback specs so they should work. Has anyone else run across this problem?
