So for some reason, when ever I need to type the word "in" on my iPhone (text, web, etc).... it always auto-corrects it as "I'n"

Anyone know how to fix this?

Type "in" then don't press space or anything and the bubble will come up trying to change. Press that X in the bubble. It should remember, so type it again to see if it did.

You might have to do this more than once so don't get frustrated if it doesn't happen on the first try. Keep at it.

Gotta agree.

I've been using this keyboard since 1.1.3 and it's only gotten worse. I'd never go as far as switching phones because of it but it is pretty frustrating at times.

Why fix something that ain't broke, Apple?

If you can type fast on an iPhone, which I can, the autocorrection is a must. Have you ever tried typing with it turned off? It is terrible.

You could always go into Settings > General > Reset > Reset Keyboard Dictionary to fix any problems with autocorrect.

+1 to this. Most of the silly errors like I'n (which isn't even valid) are due to the fact that the end user made the correction a few times. Mine finally will allow me to type Hell instead of He'll because I trained it enough.

yeh, you either train it enough if you have alot of patience or you jus turn the damn thing off. i personally dont use it. felt it a bit weird at first, but trust me, your accuracy increases and you hardly make any typing mistakes. i think its very useful for really long words, but otherwise, its best if you dont use it.

I agree a bit with this.

I actually find myself just blazing away on the long words knowing that it will ultimately fix them at the end. Like "driving" becomes "frobimh"

The spell check is certainly quirky. It does reasonably well but there are two that irk me--and I should try and train it--one is "fir" instead of "for" and the other (odd) is "née" instead of "new"
