iphone, car & music - recommendations?

have aux, no bt.
i want to being able to switch songs etc. while driving, comfortably.
ran into AutoPilot of Griffin but the control is at the 12v...
i would love for having some "remote" that i can clip/put around the steering wheel / dash area

i prefer some controller (currently have no need for iphone mount)
