This is somewhat of a lame-o question, but I'm a big fan of keeping my iPhones as pristine as possible, while not being obsessive about it. With that said, in years past, I will find myself at the beach with my family and I'm always struggling to keep things clean, ultimately resulting in me putting my iPhone in a ziploc bag.

Does anyone have a favorite folio or zipper case they like -- I'm picking up my iPhone 12 Pro Max this Friday (yes!!!!) and would like to pick up something that I could slide the phone into in sandy/dusty/active environment to keep it clean from particles.

I've always been a fan of Waterfield stuff and saw this as an example: https://www.sfbags.com/collections/iphone-cases/products/cycling-phone-wallet.

Thanks and happy iPhoneing!

I hear you. I use a plain zip loc baggie to slip my phone into when I’m gardening. Even with gloves on, my hands and everything I have on somehow gets covered with dirt. Much easier than having to take the case off to fully clean all the dirt off.

I think you’ve answered your own question- that Waterfield case looks perfect for your needs (and mine, for motorcycling!)

(and you just cost me sixty bucks LOL)

LOLOL -- well, that's great! I'll have to pick one of these up. Perhaps we should review them in here once we're $60 lighter! Happy motorcycling!

Mine arrived three days ago and it is perfect. You’ll love it. It has waterproof zippers and is a perfect fit for the iPhone (iPhone 12 pro in Apple silicone or clear case is a precise fit).

The wallet section holds multiple cards and folded cash as needed. The front is a very nice leather (I got black) and the back is a Cordura, so it doesn’t take excess effort to remove from a jacket pocket (all leather would be too ‘sticky’), but sits in the pocket securely. It has a nylon pull loop, which is very handy.

Just enough padding to provide extra protection for the phone, but not bulky at all.

Thanks for the heads up about this- it is a really great case/wallet for riding.

Hi @MadDog31 - Not lame at all. I suffer from pretty bad OCD (Diagnosed and take meds). Thankfully, it really only impacts my personal belongings and not absolutely everything around me. Having said that, my iPhone is a huge trigger for me. All my electronics are pristine. I've always carried my iPhone in a slim/medium case, screen protector along with the OCD means of getting my iPhone from location to location.

Funny it was mentioned above, I actually moved from the SFbags iPhone Wallet over to the SFBags Cycling Wallet and vastly prefer it. I love it! I also am very guilty for using a plastic baggy when I know my OCD will be major triggered when going places, even more so during COVID era. It's embarrassing, I don't let other people see, but it works fine.

Another decent alternative is a pouch from these guys: https://phoozy.com/
