So I noticed this awhile ago, but just ignored the issue by turning WiFi of on my iPhone, but now that I have an Apple TV, I want to use the remote app on my iPhone.
So the problem is this: whenever I connect my iPhone to my home network, my modem loses its' connection to my ISP. If I try to open a browser on any computer, or the iPhone, the page just hangs and is stuck on loading until it times out. The only way to correct the issue is if I reset my modem by pulling the power and letting it reset for 30 seconds. This happens every 15 minutes or so until I turn WiFi off on my iPhone; at which point it stops happening.
Most of you probably think I'm talking about the router when I say modem. I really mean the modem (the box that the cable line goes into).
I've tried reseting my iPhone 3 times and it hasn't worked, I've also tried reseting my Airport Extreme. Nothing has worked, and it's getting really annoying.
If anyone has any ideas it would be great. I'm at the point where I might buy a new modem to replace the linksys that I currently have.
Thanks,
Don
P.S. if there's any way that I can avoid calling Comcast I'd appreciate it; I really hate dealing with those people.
