Over the last couple of weeks notice my iPhone 4 charging incredibly fast. I can go from 20 percent to a full charge in less than 12-15 min?? The battery life after charge is normal as usual. Phone is jailbroken. Not complaining or anything just wonder if others charge this fast on occasion.

That would be too fast. The phone should be quite warm to the touch if it is really charging that fast.:(

How often do you charge it? Sounds like the battery may be losing its ability to hold a full charge. Trying letting it fully discharge its battery (so that it switches off on its own because it has no battery left) and then charge again.

That's the thing not losing a charge fast at all. Infact that seems to be longer also. Strange

Do you have an iPad? The iPhone wall charger charges at 1amp while the iPad charger charges at 2amps. If you're using the iPad charger, it'll charge twice as fast.

Same here, I also use the iPad wall plug instead, the quicker charging really comes in handy.

That is it I think....good call guys on the iPad charger. Wasn't even thinking of that. Thanks for the help...

This is not true. The iPhone will not draw 2amps. It maxes out at 1amp regardless of how much current the charger is capable of supplying. This isn't speculation or "what I've heard." I made a little rig to test different chargers and cables after the ipad3 came out. The 4 and 4s we have would never draw a drop more than 1a.

I've always charged all my devices with the iPad charger. Still not getting close to 15 minutes for a full charge.
