I dropped my phone in water and the battery was shot but after ordering a new battery and replacing it the phone turned on again and worked fine, the only thing that was wrong with it was that the charging port wouldnt recognize when the phone was plugged in to charge so it wouldnt charge even though the battery was now holding a charge. i ordered a new charging port as well and installed it. now the phone recognizes that it is charging but it doesnt seem to be progressively charging at all. what could be the problem here? is there something between where the port transfers energy to the battery that could be broken? do you think that getting one of those chargers that you just sit the phone on and it charges wirelessly would fix this problem? im not sure what to do. :(
