I have an iPhone that i bought on june 29th with the effected 7 series screen and I've always noticed the white dots on the screen. But yesterday my brother bought a iPhone and the first thing i did was to check if the screen had any white dots. i didnt see any so i assumed that he got a 5 seies. so i went into field test mode (*3001#12345#*) to double check the screen version, and it was a 7 series. so then why didn't i see any dots? the screen also seemed a little darker to me on full brightness. so i looked very closely on his screen and... i saw the dots, but they were BLACK! not white, black. they were not noticeable at all when i looked at it normally. Can anyone confirm this with another recently bought 7 series iPhone? you have to look very closly in a dark room. also the speaker and earpeice are louder. wtf. i would try to take pictures, but my camera is not very good with closeups. sorry.
