Hello,
I have a freind who recently upgraded to the iPhone 4.
Everything has been fine for her for about a week, but the last time she synced it with iTunes (On a Dell PC running Windows 7) it replaced her contacts with her brothers', who also uses the same computer. He brother has the same issues.
I've had her restore the iphone from a backup from earlier, but that did not work, and she has the same issue.
Any fixes?
I tried to look in Mroogle, but I did not see any relivant results.
Thank you for your time and have a great day!

The issue is that way syncing is setup for the iphones. More than likely she has it setup so that it syncs all contacts on windows contacts (or outlook if she's using outlook).

You will need to separate the contacts in windows contacts in to separate groups. After that she will need to change the settings for syncing the iphone through itunes and set it to sync with "selected groups". She will choose the group to sync with that has her contacts and thats it. Ull have to do the same thing for the bro as well.
