I just realized that the iPhone's ringtone in the commercials, is not included on the actual unit! Must have been something put it later?

The one in the commercial is the generic 'cellphone' ringtone. It was just put in there to help people identify the iPhone as a phone. I dont think they actually wanted people to use it.

I actually liked it and am interested in using it. Seeing as it sounds like it would stand out, and so many people are using "Old Phone" and like normal phone sounds, I think it would be popular.

Well that makes a lot of sense. Instead we're left with ~20 tones that don't sound like a phone. Air Raid siren, anyone?

Ha. The first few calls after we switched my wife's phone to a pretty musical ringtone, we didn't recognize them!

It sounded just like a musical carousel in the baby's room.

We've since switched back to something that sounds more like a phone
